Fantasy General II, which is owned by Gravity, is a sequel and tribute to the initial 1996 game from the now-defunct Strategic Simulations, Inc. The game was released in September by a newly formed team. It was then repurposed in August 2012 as the first planned series of free-to-play games set in the Command and Conquer the world. The game was initially dubbed Command and Conquer Generals 2, a direct successor to Command & Conquer: Generals, released in 2003. Victory Games was supposed to be the series’ third developer after Westwood Studios and EA Los Angeles, and it was meant to be the first title in the sequence. Victory Games, a now-defunct video game company, produced it for Microsoft Windows. Command and Conquer Generals 2 is a Command & Conquer sequence fair combat video game that was never published.
